  • The TV series TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL is centered around the idea that the divine is intertwined with the earthly on a regular basis. The show's soundtrack, therefore, searches out a musical common ground between mortal soul and immortal inspiration. Naturally, such an endeavor includes some contemporary Gospel (Della Reese's "Walk With You," "Celine Dion's "Love Can Move Mountains"). The surprise here is the uncommon spirituality radiated by the more secular artists here (Keb' Mo', Shawn Colvin). Dylanologists won't be able to resist "Dignity," featured here in an alternate version to the one featured on Dylan's GREATEST HITS VOL. 3.
