JUICE, background to the 1992 gangsta movie of the same name, fits the landscape of the film, even without a single track by lead actor 2Pac. The title track, "Juice (Know the Ledge)," features some of Rakim's most scintillating and dexterous rhymes over a trademark Eric B. beat, and deservedly became one of the duo's biggest hits. The rest of the soundtrack captures a perfect snapshot of the hip-hop nation of the era, including top tracks from EPMD, Naughty By Nature, and Cypress Hill.
