Lincoln Brewster's eighth studio-album, 2012's Joy to the World, is a holiday release featuring the CCM singer/guitarist's mix of modern rock, hip-hop, and orchestral sounds. Included are the rock virtuoso's takes on such Christmas classics as "Oh, Holy Night," "Little Drummer Boy," "Silent Night," and "Oh Come, Oh Come, Emmanuel," as well as a few contemporary songs. These are extravagant, high-energy productions that showcase Brewster's heavy metal and classically influenced guitar playing as well as his soulful vocals.
