This fine compilation, which dates from the late 1960s, collects some of Francoise Hardy's best recordings, including "Le Tempos De L'amour," "All Over the World," "L'amitie," and others.
The '60s French chanteuse Francoise Hardy was considered to be one of the original Ye-Ye girls but she was also a true artiste. This solid collection from 1962-65 is as a good a place to start as any, and includes her first smash hit, "Tous Les Garcons et Les Filles," a notably stark, serious debut for any kind of pop singer, and definitely a harbinger of substantial things to come.
