When the pianist Kenny Drew moved to Copenhagen in the early 1960s he started a jazz community in the city that was still going strong decades later. This mid-1980s collection finds the veteran saxophonist Benny Carter performing there, playing a set of standards with his signature elegance and inventiveness, in a trio setting backed by Drew and the Danish bassist Jesper Lundgaard.
