  • Q: How many labels does it take to put out a Patsy Cline collection? A: Apparently all of them. Delta's BEST OF PATSY CLINE, like most compilations, is drawn from the first half of her career. Cline recorded for the Four Star company from 1955 to 1960, and together with producer Owen Bradley, turned out a remarkable variety of material well reflected in BEST OF. The WALKIN' AFTER MIDNIGHT disc includes plenty of her country material, including the title track, "Crazy Dreams," "I Love You Honey," "I Cried All The Way To The Altar," and "How Can I Face Tomorrow."
  • This vintage, steel guitar-driven honky-tonk sits side by side with rockabilly cuts like "I Don't Wanna," "Gotta Lot Of Rhythm In My Soul," and the torchers "Then You'll Know" and "Three Cigarettes In An Ashtray." TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER includes three country tunes cut at Cline's first session ("Honky Tonk Merry Go Round," "Hidin' Out," and "A Church, A Courtroom And Then Goodbye"), more rockabilly ("Love Me Honey Do," "Walking Dreams"), more ballads ("I Can't Forget," "Cry Not For Me") and a gospel tune ("That Wonderful Someone").
