When a shipping magnate's daughter is kidnapped by the Japanese Mafia, the Yakuza, he turns to ex-private eye Kilmer. Having served in Japan after the war, Kilmer respects the country's traditions. He enlists ex-Yakuza member Tanaka Ken, who takes up the sword again. They save the girl, but are double-crossed. Their desire for revenge leads to a final showdown with the Yakuza where death and honour are certain.
