Kelly Rudnicki lives in suburban Chicago with her husband and five children, where she spends much of her time promoting food allergy awareness.
There's beautiful, simple food photography on glossy pages for the
majority of recipes in the book. Thus far, we ve enjoyed just about
everything we ve made. The chocolate chip brownies are a great
midway between cakey and fudgey, the zucchini bread was delicious
(and we subbed in half whole wheat flour), and the Heart-Healthy
Oatmeal Pancakes and oatmeal muffins are two excellent go-to
recipes for breakfast. Our two favorites were the Oatmeal Raisin
Cookies (we added chocolate chips and used a mixture of spelt and
whole wheat flour) and the chocolate chip cookies (I have yet to
make a chocolate chip cookie I didn t like)....Rudnicki s book is
another worthy entry into the series of vegan baking books that are
likely on your shelf. Do you need another? Yeah, sure couldn t
hurt, right? I mean, come on Snickeroos!--Ryan "VegBlog ""

Kelly Rudnicki, a mother of five, public advocate on food allergy
issues, and author of 'The Food Allergy Mama's Baking Book, '
demonstrates that it is not difficult to prepare baked goods while
still maintaining a completely plant-based diet. Her recipes also
proves that it is also possible to create delicious baked goods in
the family kitchen that are tasty enough to be enjoyed by everyone
who craves good baked treats, whether they are vegan or not.--Larry

Yearning to make classic vegan desserts that vegans as well as
omnis can get into without all of the
how-did-you-get-tofu-to-taste-sort-of-like-a-brownie drama? Kelly
Rudnicki has heard your call and hoisted Vegan Baking Classics unto
the masses. This book is aimed at enabling novices and experienced
bakers alike to easily recreate their favorite dessert
classics...The book is known for not having an emphasis on
health-craze related ingredients and pardon me while I let out a
thank gawd. So pleased to see a book that puts taste first.--Mattie
