For Adele Hensley, writing poetry allows her to reflect upon and manage the life challenges inherent in early onset Parkinson's disease. The process does her body good. Here for the first time, she shares her collection of insights, struggles, and triumphs.

Joining her in the presentation is her husband of more than twenty-nine years, Frank R. Hensley, who contributes stunning wildlife photography to accompany Adele's words. The combination is a distinct success.

Katrina Richards on
Adele's beautiful collection of poems is heart-touching, sad, funny and courageous. I haven't been able to pick my favorite. Even her first lines draw you in: She said to me, You are a dancer...;
Yesterday was difficult...;
We said we would and so we do stay married....;
The speed of light and I, we have something in common now.
Paired with Frank's stunningly beautiful bird and nature photos, this book delights and teaches and shares much of Adele's life, bravery and pain.
