A girl who longs to work with her horse and her dogs on the land, but is chained to the stifling life of a social butterfly, is the heroine of Rachael Treasure's third marvellous Australian Outback saga. The shocking death of her womanising fiance breaks her world wide open.
Rachael Treasure was born in Hobart in 1968 and now lives on a sheep farm in Tasmania with her husband John, her children, Rosie and Charlie, and a menagerie of farm animals, including working dogs from their Castleburn kelpie and border collie stud. Rachael began her working life as a jillaroo (trainee farmhand) before attending Orange Agricultural College in New South Wales. She was a rural journalist before becoming a full-time novelist. Her first novel River Run Deep (published under the title Jillaroo) was a bestseller for Penguin Australia. For more information visit Rachael's website Treasure's Tales www.rachaeltreasure.com
