About the Author

Ann Angel is the author of the Janis Joplin: Rise Up Singing, which won a YALSA Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults Award, among many other biographies. She was also contributing editor of the anthology Such a Pretty Face: Short Stories About Beauty. A graduate of Vermont College's MFA program in writing for children and young adults, Ann Angel directs the English graduate program at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, where she lives with her family. She says she was drawn to the idea behind Things I'll Never Say because she believes that the secret self is often the true self. Bahni Turpin's love for reading began in early childhood when she began reading at age two. By age five she was thrilled by the adoring responses her reading elicited from her parent's friends. Then at nine, Bahni began acting, and the rest is history. Bahni is now an actress and yoga teacher living in Los Angeles. She is an ensemble member of the Cornerstone Theater Company and has appeared in numerous television and film productions. Anne Flosnik is an accomplished actress with lead credits in stage, TV, commercials and voice overs. As a seasoned audiobook narrator, Anne has over 250 titles to her credit. She is a two-time Audie Award finalist, as well as receiving several other awards and distinctions, including an American Library Association Special Services to Children Award, AudioFile Earphones, Sukey Howard Favorite Selection, and USA Today "Recommended Listen." Amy Rubinate has been a professional voice actor and singer for over a decade. In addition to her audiobook work, she has narrated and provided character voices for many toys, video games, and interactive books for children. She is the voice of Leapfrog's Tad toys. Luke Daniels has performed at various repertory theatres around the country, with an emphasis on Shakespeare. His many audiobook credits range from action and suspense to young adult and adult fiction, including works by Philip Roth and John Updike. He currently resides in the Midwest.
