About the Author

Roberta Byram lives in Apex, North Carolina with her husband. She has fifteen grandchildren who are all ranges of age and personality, and she considers herself a most blessed grandmother. She spent over 20 years in the semiconductor industry (hardware) and traveled to Mexico and Europe. She then entered ministry and served 17 years as a United Methodist pastor in North Carolina. She entered college at age 43 (North Carolina Wesleyan College) and earned a degree in Business Administration, and when she was 50, she entered graduate school (Duke Divinity School, Duke University) and earned a Master of Divinity at age 53. Roberta loves learning and is a life-long learner! She was born and raised in Ohio about 40 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has lived in south Georgia, Atlanta, Dallas, and now Raleigh, North Carolina.
