Dan Abnett is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Horus
Rising, The Unremembered Empire, Know No Fear and
Prospero Burns, the last two of which were both New York
Times bestsellers. He has written over fifty novels - his other
work for Black Library includes the acclaimed Gaunt's Ghosts
series, the Eisenhorn and Ravenor trilogies, and I Am
Slaughter, the opening novel in The Beast Arises series. A
prolific comics writer, he scripted the first Horus Heresy graphic
novel, Macragge's Honour. He lives and works in Maidstone,
Kent in the UK.
David Annandale is the author of the Horus Heresy novel The
Damnation of Pythos, the Adeptus Titanicus novel Warlord
and the Grey Knights books Sons of Titan and Warden of
the Blade. He also writes the Commissar Yarrick series, which
includes the novella Chains of Golgotha and the novels
Imperial Creed and The Pyres of Armageddon. For the
Space Marine Battles series, he has written the novels The Death
of Antagonis and Overfiend, while he is also the author
of three volumes in The Beast Arises series. David lectures at a
Canadian university on subjects ranging from English literature to
horror films and video games.
John French is the author of several Horus Heresy stories including
the novels The Solar War, Praetorian of Dorn, Tallarn and Slaves to
Darkness, the novella The Crimson Fist, and the audio dramas Dark
Compliance, Templar and Warmaster. For Warhammer 40,000 he has
written Resurrection, Incarnation and Divination for The Horusian
Wars and three tie-in audio dramas - the Scribe award-winning Agent
of the Throne: Blood and Lies, as well as Agent of the Throne:
Truth and Dreams and Agent of the Throne: Ashes and Oaths. John has
also written the Ahriman series and many short stories.
Guy Haley is the author of the Horus Heresy novel Pharos,
the Primarchs novel Peturabo and two volumes in The Beast
Arises series: Throneworld and The Beheading. He has
also written many Warhammer 40,000 novels, including Dante,
Valedor and the Imperial Battle Tanks novels Baneblade
and Shadowsword. His enthusiasm for all things greenskin led
him to pen the eponymous Warhammer fantasy novel Skarsnik,
as well as the End Times novel The Rise of the Horned Rat.
He has also written a number of novellas and short stories set in
Warhammer's new Age of Sigmar setting. He lives in Yorkshire,
England with his wife and son.
Nick Kyme is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Old Earth,
Deathfire, Vulkan Lives and Sons of the Forge, the novellas
Promethean Sun and Scorched Earth, and the audio dramas Red-Marked,
Censure and Nightfane. His novella Feat of Iron was a New York
Times bestseller in the Horus Heresy collection, The Primarchs.
Nick is well known for his popular Salamanders novels, including
Rebirth, the Sicarius novels Damnos and Knights of Macragge, and
numerous short stories. He has also written fiction set in the
world of Warhammer, most notably the Warhammer Chronicles novel The
Great Betrayal and the Age of Sigmar story 'Borne by the Storm',
included in the novel War Storm. More recently he has scripted the
Age of Sigmar audio drama The Imprecations of Daemons. He lives and
works in Nottingham.
Graham McNeill has written many Horus Heresy novels, including The
Crimson King, Vengeful Spirit and his New York Times bestsellers A
Thousand Sons and the novella The Reflection Crack'd, which
featured in The Primarchs anthology. Graham's Ultramarines series,
featuring Captain Uriel Ventris, is now six novels long, and has
close links to his Iron Warriors stories, the novel Storm of Iron
being a perennial favourite with Black Library fans. He has also
written the Forges of Mars trilogy, featuring the Adeptus
Mechanicus. For Warhammer, he has written the Warhammer Chronicles
trilogy The Legend of Sigmar, the second volume of which won the
2010 David Gemmell Legend Award.
Gav Thorpe is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Deliverance
Lost, Angels of Caliban and Corax. He is particularly
well known for his Dark Angels stories, including the Legacy of
Caliban series and the Space Marine Legends novel Azrael.
His Warhammer 40,000 repertoire further includes the Path of the
Eldar trilogy, The Beast Arises novel The Beast Must Die and
the Phoenix Lords novels Asurmen and Jain Zar. For
Warhammer, Gav has penned The Sundering trilogy, the End Times
novel The Curse of Khaine and the novel Warbeast in
the Realmgate Wars series. He lives and works in Nottingham,
UK.
Chris Wraight is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Scars
and The Path of Heaven, the novellas Brotherhood of the
Storm and Wolf King, and the audio dramas The
Sigillite and Grey Talon. For Warhammer 40,000, he has
written the Space Wolves novels Blood of Asaheim and
Stormcaller, the Inquisition novel The Carrion Throne
and the Space Marine Battles novels Wrath of Iron and War
of the Fang. Additionally, he has many Warhammer stories to his
name, including the Time of Legends novel Master of Dragons
and the End Times novel The Fall of Altdorf. Chris lives and
works near Bristol, in south-west England.
