Gareth Calway was born in Wales, grew-up in Bristol and Somerset before ending-up teaching in his old school in Abersychan. He has been involved in teaching Creative Writing for twenty-seven years, and has published seven collections of poetry, regularly touring his one-man show across the country. He is the 'Poet Laureate' for Bristol City FC and regularly reads his work in Bristol, Wales and Norfolk, where he now lives.
