Speaking Engagements
Linda has already spoken about this subject to St. George’s
Episcopal Church in Nashville, Tennessee and the First
Congregational Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has been
invited to speak in February about this subject to the All Souls
Unitarian Church in Colorado Springs as well as a Lutheran church
in Colorado Springs. She is exploring speaking at several churches
in Denver, Colorado.
Linda travels throughout the world for business and will be
speaking on healing and spirituality. The speaking schedule will be
firmed up in the fall since many churches don’t plan their
schedules until this time. She will be contacting churches that are
part of the Interfaith Alliance in Denver (33 churches).
Arrangements and engagements with the Unity Church in Colorado
Springs as well as other churches throughout the nation will be
made in the coming months. Response so far to this subject has been
positive. At a previous engagement, one listener said the speech
changed her life. Linda has been able to form an emotional
connection with the audience listening to her speak on this subject
- the audience seems to be hungry for this type of material and for
encouragement to continue tackling their own personal
struggles.
Other possible groups that Linda will reach out to for possible
speaking engagements:
• Cancer survivor groups
• Support groups for people with rare illnesses
Other locations Linda has been to and spoken about healing and
spirituality:
• All Souls Unitarian Church in Colorado Springs
• First Methodist Church in Colorado Springs
• Society of Friends Regional meeting in Denver
• Baha’i Church in Colorado Springs
• A Protestant Church in Piccadilly Square in London, England

Platform Marketing
Readership: People who have been ill, are ill, think they will be,
or know someone who is ill
Because of Linda’s two medical issues, cancer and dystonia, she has
the possibility of reaching out and connecting well with groups
that are facing serious illnesses.
The author, Dr. Linda Seger, was the founder of the script consulting profession, and one of the authorities in the field of screenwriting, sought after for seminars and consulting and for her 9 books on screenwriting. She was at the top of her field. In 2009, she developed a movement disorder called dystonia which was aggravating, frustrating, and demanded hours of therapy a day. For a year she was unable to travel and reading was difficult. Just as she was improving, she was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. During this time, she began to write about her spiritual experiences, struggling with her medical problems and working through her relationship with God as someone wanting and waiting to be healed. Her theological background, and her refusal to give up on God, informed her journey. She hopes the digging deep that she has done will help illuminate the sufferings of others.
