Praise for Preparing Your Daughter for Every Woman’s Battle
“Preparing Your Daughter for Every Woman’s Battle is a book for
every mom of a young daughter. If you read this book and integrate
it into your relationship with your daughter while she is young,
you will lay a firm foundation for the potentially stressful and
stormy days of adolescence. Too many moms wait until the
storms come to discuss these important matters with their
children. If you want your daughter to pursue purity, then
don't wait to read this book!”
–Sharon Hersh, author of Mom, Everyone Else Does!
“When has there been a more urgent time for this newest addition to
the series? Shannon Ethridge answers the questions anxious
mothers are asking, and in a thorough, straight-on way. I wish
I’d had this book when my daughter was growing up.”
–Nancy Rue, author of the Lily and the Sophie series
Being in ZOEgirl has taught me to be very careful about the things
I endorse or represent, but this book is one that I can stand
behind completely. Preparing Your Daughter is the perfect tool for
opening up the lines of communication between you and your child on
some very tough topics: love, lust, singleness, marriage, and all
that's in between. Beyond that it will help your daughter discover
first and foremost God’s unconditional love for her as well as
increase the likelihood that she will embark on a healthy, whole,
and enjoyable journey toward feminine maturity.
--Chrissy Conway of ZOEgirl
Praise for Every Young Woman’s Battle
Right from the start, Ethridge catches readers off guard with her
let’s-get-real frankness. But this is a good thing, considering the
fact that her book…tackles the nitty-gritty netherworld of teen
girls’ sexuality…. In her trademark girl-to-girl tone, she covers
fashion, flirting, masturbation, lesbian experimentation, oral sex,
boundaries in relationships, guarding your heart, Internet
chatrooms, and pursuing a love relationship with God first.

Praise for Every Woman’s Battle
Every Woman’s Battle challenges women to live sexually and
emotionally pure lives. Using stories and examples from real-life
struggles, best-selling author Shannon Ethridge helps women guard
their body, mind, and emotions with Christ as their true source of
fulfillment. Wake up to the battle within!
–Christian Marketplace
In Every Woman’s Battle, Shannon Ethridge candidly addresses the
unique aspects of female sexuality without sounding judgmental or
critical…. Most importantly Every Woman’s Battle outlines a plan
for victory, based on Scripture and common sense…. Whether you are
married or still waiting for your proverbial knight in shining
armor, Every Woman’s Battle is a valuable read.
–CCM Magazine
“There is a common, almost Victorian, myth that women don’t really
struggle with sexual sin. That myth causes many women to feel a
double-shame. The shame of struggling sexually is compounded by the
assumption that few, if any, women share the same battle. Shannon
Ethridge artfully and boldly unveils the war and offers women a way
to enter the battle with courage, hope, and grace. Every Woman’s
Battle will help both men and women comprehend the glorious beauty
and sensuality of holiness. This is a desperately needed book.”
–Dan B. Allender, Ph.D, president of Mars Hill Graduate School
and author of The Healing Path
