"Ljungkvist’s irresistible, eye-popping illustrations—which sport a
retro-style mix of funky, bright colors; flattened perspective; and
minimally detailed shapes—are as fetching as they come. Chockfull,
vocabulary-boosting double-page spreads show cute-as-can-be Pepi
exploring the numerous objects found in a bakery, a music studio,
an art studio, a market, and a dog park, with whimsical results.
Ideal forone-on-one sharing with clear-cut connections to
vocations, poetry, and the artistic process."--Booklist
"The digital art utilizes expanses of flat color and shaped,
controlled line in elegant ways and with a distinctly Modern
aesthetic...a pleasing outing."--Kirkus Reviews
