"This has been a fun thing to do! We have tried several different
recipes and are still experimenting, but so it has all been
yummy!"
"I purchased this book to go along with the machine for my Grandpa
who loves ice cream but is trying to cut back on sugar and eat more
fruit. The recipes and ideas in here are perfect for him to get
started and have plenty variety for him to use what he has on hand.
He was very excited."
"Buy this book! Bananas, frozen fruit, yogurt...bourbon.. Did I say
BOURBON? Yup! Ice creams, sorbets, sherberts. Great recipes."
"I expected a cookbook filled with recipes. I didn't expect a great
resource for cleaning, care, and best practices with the Yonanas.
Very comprehensive and chock full of amazing recipes for some
delicious treats. Except the raisins, but that's personal. In
truth, when I read what to do when your banana disappears, I knew
that this was a great book. Recommended. In fact, you might want to
read the book first, then buy the Yonanas."
"The key for soft scoop-able ice cream is adding a banana to your
mix. Here you have a machine that is designed with this fruit in
mind. You can make nutritional and well balanced desert for your
family using frozen fruits timely collected over their harvest
season and jazz it up to your taste.EnjoyJoanne"
"I was a little skeptical, but was actually quite impressed. I love
bananas and anyone who tries this must also like bananas as they
are the foundation of nearly every recipe. My favorite recipe is
banana, vanilla yogurt, sweet dark cherries, and a little bit of
chocolate hazelnut spread like Nutella. Yum!!!! If you're watching
your waistline, this can be an excellent way to still have those
cold soft serves but full of fruit instead of fat and added sugar.
They say the added fiber of fresh fruits tends to offset sugars
because it takes more calories to try to digest fibrous foods.
Yeah!!!! What you can create with this little machine is only
limited by your imagination and the fact that just about everything
needs to be frozen first. The good part is that you can buy frozen
fruit in your grocer's freezer isle, so its not like you have to
work to have frozen fruit. LOL A great little machine!!"
