About the Author

Haddon W. Robinson (1931-2017; PhD, University of Illinois) served as the Harold John Ockenga Distinguished Professor of Preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He authored numerous books, including It's All in How You Tell It and Making a Difference in Preaching. Patricia Batten (DMin, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) teaches homiletics at Gordon-Conwell and has served various churches in pastoral or preaching roles.
