Andre Botequilha Leitao is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Planning at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Resources (FERN), University of Algarve, Faro, Portugal. Kevin McGarigal is Associate Professor of Landscape Ecology at the UMass Amherst.
