"Makerspaces makes a wonderful contribution to education by bringing the playful and creative mindset of the maker-movement to early years settings. The book champions a much-needed approach to children's education that is based around collaboration, self-expression and learning through making. Bringing together hands-on planning tools with evidence-based learning theories, Makerspaces is a must-have resource for preschool and kindergarten teachers." -Dr. Louisa Penfold, founder of Art Play Children Learning and Post-Doctoral Fellow in Early Childhood Education at Harvard University
