About the Author

Historian Stanislaw M. Jankowski is a leading authority on Poland’s underground movement during the Second World War. He is a graduate of Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and the author of more than 20 books. For his historical work related to the Katyn massacre, he has been awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
