J. M. Coetzee is a South African novelist,
essayist, linguist and translator, recipient of the 2003 Nobel
Prize in Literature and two times a winner of the Man Booker
Award.
Hermann Wittenberg is Associate Professor in the
Department of English at the University of the Western Cape, South
Africa where he teaches courses in Ecocritical Writing, South
African Literature and Digital Culture. He has written several
articles on JM Coetzee for accredited, peer-reviewed journals.
