About the Author

Richard Cook, Master of Counselling (Hons.), B.D., B.Ed., Dip.Tchg. Dean of Counsellor Education at Bethlehem Tertiary Institute in Tauranga, New Zealand, with 15 years experience in counselling and supervision and 12 years in the teaching of counselling. Irene Alexander, Ph. D., M. Phil., B.Sc., Dean of the School of Social Sciences at Christian Heritage College in Brisbane with 25 years experience as a psychologist, therapist and supervisor and 17 years experience in tertiary teaching. This book is the result of several years of research and writing by the editors and the contributors to the text from across Australia and New Zealand.
