Reviews

This is a classic book, now in its third edition, but the authors have taken great care to keep the material up-to-date and present very contemporary concerns and issues with supervision. I highly recommend that all supervisors and therapists have this on their bookshelves. Nadya A. Fouad, PhD, University Distinguished Professor, Department of Educational Psychology, The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee In this superbly written third edition, the authors have significantly enriched their unique and invaluable developmental approach to supervision. They do a masterful job in providing a lucid description of their integrative developmental model of supervision and its rich theoretical grounding. Nadine J. Kaslow, PhD, ABPP, Professor and Chief Psychologist, Emory Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Grady Health System The authors provide a practical yet scholarly approach to clinical supervision that recognizes the core of the process, as well as the variations introduced by the level of the practitioner's experience from neophyte, to advancec therapist. This book will be helpful to beginning as well as experienced clinical supervisors. Lawrence Shulman, MSW, EdD, Dean and Professor Emeritus, The University at Buffalo
