About the Author

GARETH RENOWDEN (MA Oxon.) has written for and worked on a wide variety of magazines and newspapers in Britain, New Zealand and the United States. His recent books include The Truffle Book and The Olive Book (Canterbury University Press 1999) and he is the author of Video - The Inside Story. When not researching and writing he grows truffles, olives and grapes on a small farm in North Canterbury, and is president of the New Zealand Truffle Association.
