About the Author

Maya K�vskaya, PhD, is a professional art critic, writer, scholar, curator, and translator with more than a decade of experience in the Chinese art world, and three in India. She has contributed to more than 30 international exhibitions as curator and/or critic. Her art criticism has appears regularly in international art catalogues, academic volumes, and major magazines and she is the author of China Under Construction: Contemporary Art from the People's Republic. Han Lei is an award-winning photographer whose work has been exhibited internationally.
