Bex Lipp co-wrote the book 'Finding Gratitude' through Quarto Publishing in the US. Bex's own personal story of struggles with mental health issues led her to come up with the ideas behind the picture books, with a focus on emotions, anxiety and general well-being. Craig Phillips has worked as a professional illustrator for the US and Australian publishing industries for twenty years. His client list includes Random House, Scholastic, Simon and Schuster, Hachette, Hardie Grant, Bloomsbury, Oxford University Press and many more. His work has appeared in art anthologies such as The Society of Illustrators Annual, Spectrum Fantastic Art Annual and Luerzers 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide, and has been exhibited at the Museum of American Illustration.
Best Book Ever!"That's the opinion of my 9 year old wildling. For a
neurodiverse child like my daughter it is always hard for her to
really get involved in a story. She often has 3 or 4 books on the
go as her attention span is not very long.
So imagine my delight when she received Guardian of the Gryphon and
she immediately began to devour it. The only sounds from her was as
she just "had to" share something happening in the story. She
literally begged me to let her stay up later so she could finish a
chapter before lights out.
As soon as she woke the next morning she was straight back to the
world of Lyra. And she was less than impressed why I said she had
to go to school rather than stay home and read.
Now the book is finished she has reread a number of her favourite
parts and has even drawn some of the characters to put on her
bedroom wall. Our household eagerly awaits the next instalment. So
