About the Author

JENNIFER KATZINGER is the author of Flying Apron's Gluten-Free & Vegan Baking Book (2009), and the popular Gluten-Free & Vegan series, including Gluten-Free & Vegan Holidays (2011), Gluten-Free & Vegan Bread (2012), and Gluten-Free & Vegan Pie (2013). She is the founder of Seattle's well-known gluten-free and vegan bakery/cafU, Flying Apron Bakery ( She lives in Seattle.

RAVEN BONNAR-PIZZORNO, MS, RD, CD, earned her MS in nutrition from Bastyr University. She has co-authored online articles on nutrition for WebMD and the Seattle Post Intelligencer. She has lectured throughout Washington State and has published research in Nutrition and Cancer, an international journal. She currently treats patients in clinical practice in Bellevue, WA. She is passionate about empowering individuals to improve their health.
