Gail Giles is the author of several books for young adults, including Shattering Glass, What Happened to Cass McBride?, and Right Behind You. About Girls Like Us, she says, "I taught special ed students like Biddy and Quincy for twenty years, and I've been wanting to tell their stories--stories of courage, sometimes pain, and certainly triumph--for a long time." Gail Giles lives near Houston, Texas. Lauren Ezzo is a midwestern-based actor and recent graduate of Hope College. A native of Haslett, Michigan, she was most recently seen in Peppermint Creek Theatre Co.'s world premiere of Or You Could Kiss Me. Lauren's hobbies include reading, running, and worrying about her orchid. Brittany Pressley is a voiceover artist, songwriter and vocal producer in New York City. She has narrated almost 40 audiobooks including works by bestselling authors R. L. Stine and Alyson Noel. Her voice has been featured in commercials and promos for Nickelodeon and MTV as well as in a variety of games and learning apps for young children. As a songwriter her debut EP won several independent music awards and she continues to write and perform music for commercials.
