A celebration of seasonal eating, and the landscapes that produce it, from the founder of the lifestyle brand Toast.
Jessica Seaton studied Ancient History & Archaeology at Birmingham
University, before starting her own knitwear business with her
husband Jamie. But she is better known as one of the two founders
of TOAST, a leading British fashion and lifestyle brand.
An enthusiastic cook, she enjoys creating new meals for family and
friends. She divides her time between working in London and her
home in West Wales, where she has a thriving kitchen garden and
often walks the hills looking for foraged produce.
She uses Instagram and her own blog 'Notes from the Lland' to
photograph and write about food and a sense of place.
Beautiful recipes deeply rooted in time and place - my favourite
sort of food. Certain to become often used in my kitchen.

It's the sort of food I want to eat all day long: simple and
vibrant, honest and healthy. Everything looks and tastes like
nature intended it. This book is like a breath of fresh air.

'The book has an extraordinary sense of place, which doesn't - as
it so often does in books today - come from lifestyle pictures, but
the recipes and words . . .The recipes feel both homely and
innovative, but not for the sake of being innovative: this book is
rooted and real. I haven't put so many bookmark's in one book for a
long time.
