Professor em. Dr. Dr. h.c. Heinz Duchhardt, full member of the Historical Commission at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences, was Director of the Universal History Department at the Institute for European History in Mainz until 2011. He was President of the Max Weber Foundation until February 2015. Dr. Martin Espenhorst, geb. Peters, ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Leibniz-Institut fÃ"r Europäische Geschichte Mainz. Er koordinierte das Projekt "Europäische Friedensverträge der Vormoderne" und war Ko-Projektleiter im Verbund "Ãbersetzungsleistungen von Diplomatie und Medien im vormodernen Friedensprozess".
