M. L. Doyle has served in the U.S. Army at home and abroad for more than three decades as both a soldier and civilian. Mary is the author of "I'm Still Standing; From Captive U.S. Soldier to Free Citizen - My Journey Home (Touchstone, 2010) which was nominated for an NAACP Image award. Her mystery, The Peacekeeper's Photograph, won the Bronze Medal in the Independent Publisher Awards and won The Rebecca Reads Choice Award. The books, The Sapper's Plot, and The General's Ambition, round out the indie published Master Sgt. Harper mystery series. She has also penned, The Bonding Spell, the first book in an urban fantasy series, an adult romance series, is the co-author of the memoir, A Promise Fulfilled (Cleckley Enterprises, 2013) and has authored multiple novellas and short stories which appear in a variety of publications. Mary currently works as the Chief of Media Relations in the Fort George G. Meade Public Affairs office and served as principle editor for this project. Sherry Kuiper came to Fort George G. Meade as a Media Relations Specialist after spending 12 years working as a TV news producer. Kuiper earned her bachelor's degree in Communications from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2004. She is currently working on her Master's Degree from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Kuiper is the author of "Images of America: Around Picture Rocks", a history of her hometown, Picture Rocks, PA. She has been recognized for volunteering as a Docent at the National Infantry Museum in Fort Benning, GA. Kuiper prides herself in being a member of the Ann Arundel Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution which focuses on historical preservation, education and patriotism. Benjamin D. Rogers is a 5th generation artist originally from California. Ben has lived in North Carolina, Belgium and now Maryland. He joined the Army in 1999 where he served as a paratrooper in the 82nd ABN DIV at Fort Bragg, NC. He deployed to Iraq in 2003 (OIF 1) and was honorably discharged from the military in 2005 where he then began his pursuit in an education in the arts and he began working for the Army as a civilian. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Communications from UMUC. Ben has worked for the Fort Meade Garrison since 2015 and serves as the Visual Information Manager, creating visual content for the community in support of Fort Meade Garrison mission.
