About the Author

Dr Chris McNab is a writer and editor specialising in military history, with a major research interest in the evolution of modern manoeuvre warfare. He has written or contributed to numerous titles, including Campaigns of World War II, Order of Battle: German Kriegsmarine, Order of Battle: German Luftwaffe, World War II Data Book: The Third Reich, 1933-45 and World War II Data Book: The SS, 1923-45. Christer Jorgensen graduated with a Ph.D from University College, London. An expert on military history, Christer has published various books on the history of warfare. He has previously contributed to Fighting Techniques of the Early Modern World and Battles that Changed Warfare. Michael E. Haskew has been writing and researching military history topics for more than 25 years. He is the author of The Encyclopedia of Elite Forces In World War II, Order of Battle: Western Allied Tanks, 1939-45, The Essential Vehicle Identification Guide: Postwar Armoured Fighting Vehicles, 1945-Present and The Essential Weapons Identification Guide: Postwar Artillery, 1945-Present. Mr. Haskew also served as editor of The World War II Desk Reference with The Eisenhower Center For American Studies. He lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
