This is a very cute book, we love the illustrations! Second in the series, and very developed as well (fancy talk to describe a fart book! how funny!). This story is about Timmy and his best bud Fart. Timmy is going to tryout for the hockey team, but Fart follows him, and shows up a lot (especially when he's nervous)! Timmy doesn't want to be the 'stinky' kid, so he asks Fart not to come, but Fart wants to support his friend. What will happen?!?! You have to read and find out;) -- TrieditallThis is the second book in the series, which I am pleased to say is just as funny and enjoyable to read as the first one, The Day my fart followed me home. This story is about Timmy and his best friend Fart. Timmy was nervous about tryouts for the hockey team, so Fart follows him, as only a Fart can do when you are nervous. You just will have to read the book to find what happens when Fart shows up at hockey tryouts. I promise you and your child will be laughing out loud over this story and the excellent illustrations. -- E. CarterWe first met Timmy and his hilarious 'companion' Little Fart in THE DAY MY FART FOLOWED ME HOME. Now this new little charmer of a book is so well written (and illustrated by Danko Herrera) that though written for children it will probably become an adult favorite pick for bedtime stories for the family. Timmy is a young lad who now has as his best friend Little Fart and thoughts of hockey are the subject of the day. Timmy feels he is inadequate for hockey but Little Fart boosts his morale by telling him he is Great! Despite Little Farts support, Timmy fears allowing him to follow Timmy to school because everyone will then think Timmy stinks. Timmy's Mom reinforces his spirit and Timmy is off to school, suiting up in the locker room for the new coach named Kip. When Timmy goes out on the ice he discovers the Little Fart has slipped in to support him. Timmy dreads being stinky so he asks Little Fart not to follow him. Timmy is a beginner but his fright of the game is squelched when Little Fart meets him at the break and has a great idea - he will dress as a hockey player and be on the ice with Timmy. And sure enough with Little Fart on skates exuding his talent, the other hockey players are distracted, allowing Timmy to make points and skate well - and in the end Coach Kip names Timmy to the team. One main reason is the presence of Little Fart, and Timmy acknowledges that and praises him.Aside from the entertainment and laughs the book presents, there are lessons about team work and relationships and friendships that make the book a solid winner - both for fun and for learning. Another winner for Ben and Sam! Grady Harp, September 16 -- Grady HarpWhat a happy book this is. It is loaded with pictures and ideal to read to children. When I read this Kindle Book, I was impressed that the book has such professional and colorful illustrations in it. These illustrations tell the story slowly getting with the words. What I really liked about this book:1 The storyline is easy to follow and through the character Fart, Timmy's Best Friend, the story's theme is all about friendship and trusting ones best friend. In a charming manner, this book gets that point across in a fun way.2 The illustrations are PLENTIFUL, LARGE and COLORFUL...just what children love in books.3 Yes it us for children, however, I am a kid at heart and I really enjoyed reading this book. This eBook was provided to me for reviewing purposes. Personally, I really like this book and I highly recommend this to you to purchase and then read to your kids or Grandkids. -- Daisy S
