About the Author

Blanca Castellon was born in Managua in 1958. Her work has appeared in many national and international anthologies and has been translated into various languages. She is a member and co-founder of ANIDE, the Nicaraguan Writers' Association. She has been vice president of the Nicaraguan Writers' Center, a member of the board of the Institute of Hispanic Culture, and is vice president of the International Poetry Festival of Granada. Her books include Ama del espiritu (1995), Flotaciones (1998), Orilla opuesta (2000) and Los juegos de Elisa (2005). Roger Hickin is a New Zealand poet, translator and visual artist, and editor of Cold Hub Press.
