About the Author

Richard R. Gaillardetz, Ph.D., is the Margaret and Thomas Murray and James J. Bacik Professor of Catholic Studies at the University of Toledo. He is an official delegate on the U.S. Catholic--Methodist Ecumenical Dialogue.
