About the Author

Francis Sanzaro is an international climber and Editor-in-Chief of Gym Climber and Ascent magazines. He is the author of many essays on sport, climbing and philosophy and has published in the New York Times. He now lives, climbs and writes in Carbondale, amongst the mountains of Colorado.
