About the Author

Matt Woodley is the managing editor for PreachingToday.com, a ministry of Christianity Today. After pastoring three churches for over twenty years, Matt currently serves part-time as the Pastor of Compassion Ministries at Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton, Illinois. He has authored four books, including God with Us: The Gospel of Matthew and The Folly of Prayer. He has also contributed numerous articles to various publications, including Leadership Journal, In Touch magazine, and Neues Leben.
