Karen Bijkersma (pronounced bike-ers-ma ) has worked as an advertising copywriter, a writer and editor of schools publications, and a teacher of advertising and marketing at Holmesglen TAFE. As the mother of two small children, she is ideally placed to put her professional writing skills into a clever, concise resource for new parents. She lives in Footscray, Victoria.
