Lana Krumwiede is the author of the middle-grade novel Freakling, the first book in the Psi Chronicles trilogy. Her short stories, articles, and poems have appeared in various publications, including Highlights, High Five, Spider, Babybug, The Friend, and Chicken Soup for the Child's Soul. About Archon, she says, "The idea for a second book came from a teen who read an early draft of Freakling. When I asked her what she thought of the ending, she said she was worried about Taemon because everyone would be really mad at him. My eyes lit up and I knew that Taemon's story wasn't finished." Lana Krumwiede lives in Richmond, Virginia. Nick Podehl has been named a "Best Voice" by AudioFile magazine in 2010 and 2011. He has narrated many young adult, fantasy and romance titles, several of which have won awards, and has appeared in a number of theatrical productions and independent films.
