The challenge in providing a simplified method of 12-lead ECG acquisition and infarct recognition lies in determining the information that is absolutely necessary for effective recognition and treatment of acute coronary syndromes. If too much nice to know information is provided, you are quickly overwhelmed. If a text supplies an inadequate amount of need to know information, it is of little benefit to your clinical practice.
