Mazel Tov Baby Girl Hinged Box Carriage with Baby Bottle Treasure
The birth of a child is one of the most beautiful moments in Jewish life. The chain of tradition has been extended with a new link between past and future generations. A baby girl receives her Jewish identity with the bestowing of a Hebrew name. This ceremony traditionally takes place at a Torah reading service. In addition, in some Sephardic and other congregations, there is a Simhat Bat, a special celebration honouring the birth of a daughter. This ceremony is usually conducted by a rabbi, and takes place either at home or in the synagogue.
