At the end of each section - devoted to a type of animal - there are facts about the animal in question, adding to the educational value of the stories. The book is beautifully illustrated by Kathy Pienaar with great attention to detail.
Acclaimed author Dianne Stewart has degrees in African Languages, Literature and Psychology.
