Bruce Weber was born to father Paul, an educator, and mother Miriam, a homemaker on November 20, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in 1964 and went on to graduate from Pace University with an MBA in 1968. Bruce always loved sports but didn't know if he could make it as an athlete. When he was young he also developed an interest in writing, so he finally decided to combine the two loves and write about sports. He is constantly inundated with fan mail from his young readers, which he tries to answer quickly and with a personal touch. He and his wife Annette have two children, daughter Allison Emma and son Jonathan Russell. Allison is married to Adam Kraemer. The Kraemers are the parents of Max Phillips and Dylan Henry Kraemer, the Webers' first grandchildren. The Webers reside in Paramus, New Jersey.
