Ann Chapman is a passionate rose grower and an expert on Old Roses. Wth her husband she established the Trinity Farm Living Rose Museum in New Zealand, planting their first rose bushes over twenty-five years ago. The varieties Ann has chosen for this book come from her own gardens, where she came to wonder about the stories of the women whose namesakes she saw every day.
