Dr Gary Wood, Bsc(Hons), PgC, PhD, FHEA, Csci, Cpsychol, AFBPsS, is a social psychologist, personal coach, and broadcaster with, in addition, more than fifteen years experience of teaching psychology. He has published in The British Medical Journal and The Psychologist as well as mainstream periodicals from more! magazine to the Times Higher Education Review. His book Don't Wait For Your Ship To Come In. . . Swim Out To Meet It has been translated into several languages. He is regularly quoted in the press and contributes to radio TV and has fronted several media campaigns for the Learning and Skills Council.
