Reviews

'This is the best overview of popular music styles that I have seen. I wish I could feed it to my A level music tech students intravenously. Each decade from the 1950s to the present is systematically unpicked in such a way as to give a feeling for the prevailing politics and fashion of the time, while giving just enough (but not too much) detail about all the musical styles you are likely to need to cover for GCSE, BTEC and A level music tech pop music options.' Jane Werry, Music Teacher Magazine
