About the Author

Born April 7th, 1950 in Herkimer, New York, along the Mohawk River, near the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, and raised in Ilion, New York (just across the river), Dah has been a resident of Berkeley, California since 1980 where for the past fifteen years he has been teaching 'Chakra Four Yoga' to children and adults. A prolific writer, a musician, and an awarding-winning photographer, Dah has been writing poetry for five decades, and according to himself, he has not reached the degree of writing that he knows exists somewhere in his mind. He is simultaneously working on his fifth and sixth manuscripts. Between 2013 and 2014, 76 of Dah's poems were published in 36 reviews, journals and magazines by editors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, the Philippines and China which also includes his essay "Grandmother" published in 'Estuary Magazine'. Dah along with U.K. Poet, Paul Larner created 'The Poet's Lounge', a small Facebook poetry critique group/workshop that has motivated the growth of dozens of aspiring and accomplished poets, with members from India, Sweden, the Philippines, the U.K. and the U.S.
