About the Author

Michael Hawton is a psychologist and teacher with over 25 years experience working with children and families, clinically for much of that time. He has also worked as an expert witness in the family and children's courts. His 1-2-3 Magic(R) and Emotion Coaching programme has been delivered to over 5,500 family professionals across the UK, China and the United States. He has also developed Engaging Adolescents (TM) practitioner training programme to deliver parenting skills for teenage behaviour problems.
